The program offers Master degree (Magister Teknik – MT.) in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering.
The curriculum for the Master’s Program was developed under the Minister Regulation of Education, Culture, Research and Technology No. 53/2023 on National Standards for Higher Education. According to this regulation, the study load for the Master’s program is at least 54 credits scheduled within four semesters and can be completed in less than/or four semesters and up to six semesters, including thesis preparation. This is different from the previous regulation, in which the minimum load is 36 credits.
Admission
Registration of the candidates for Master at ITB can be directly “on line” through http:/admission.itb.ac.id
Applicants for the ITB Master’s Program must be able to meet the following requirements:
- Pass the selection of academic requirements and abilities carried out by the study program.
- Pay the registration fee for ITB Postgraduate Student Selection.
The selection process for prospective students of the ITB Graduate Program consists of three stages, namely:
- Administrative processing, which includes:
- Diploma from the previous educational stage
- Transcript from the previous educational stage
- Statement of purpose
- Proof of insurance ownership
- Recommendation from 2 individuals (lecturers or superiors)
- Letter of willingness to participate in the ITB Graduate Program
- Letter of commitment to finance the ITB Graduate Program
- Statement of document authenticity.
- The selection is based on passing the minimum scores of UPDA ITB/TPA Bappenas (Basic Academic Potential Test) and the minimum score of ELPT (English Language Proficiency Test ) ITB, with minimum score of 475. Complete explanations can be found at Admission ITB – Program Magister.
- The academic ability selection is conducted in the intended study program (in a form of interview or written exam).
The admission decision can either be accepted, conditionally accepted (administrative requirements must be completed), or rejected.
