To implement the provisions of Article 26 of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Regulation Number 8 of 2012 about Procedures for Determination of Indonesian Competency Standards, the Badan Informasi Geospasial determines the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards in the Field of Geospatial Information (SKKNI -IG). SKKNI-IG is then used as a reference in the management and development of Geospatial Information Human Resources, including:
- Development of IG Competency Based Training
- Development of IG Competency Certification
- Development of IG HR Management Systems
To support and socialize SKKNI-IG to users, the Geospatial Information Agency collaborates with the Center of Data Spatial Infrastructure, Survey and Mapping Laboratory and Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering Study Program to carry out Geospatial Information Competency Test Simulation. The simulation has been carried out in ITB Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering on August 14, 2018 to August 15, 2018.
