As of April 18, 2019, Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering of ITB has been officially accredited in full by ASIIN after going through long examination process. Congratulation to all civitas academica, especially to Dr.rer.nat Wiwin Windupranata and Dr. Irwan Gumilar as Head and Chairman of ASIIN accreditation program, Head of Undergraduate Study Program Bambang Setyadji alongside all Lecturers team and Assitants, Staffs, Students, and Alumnis who help in accreditation process.
ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik) is an international accreditation institution from Germany that focuses on scientific engineering, informatics, agriculture, biology, and mathematics and science. As an international accreditation institution, ASIIN aims to test and improve the quality of education not only in Germany but also the World. As an international accreditation institution, ASIIN aims to assuring and strengyhening the quality of education not only in Germany but also the World. “High quality in academic education is the foundation for sustainable development in modern societies” as their foundation, ASIIN applies strict qualification standards that must be met by educational institutions. ASIIN international accreditation is an output based accreditation (Outcome Based Accreditation), thus accreditation assurance is focused on meeting output-based education standards (Outcome Based Education) which has been adjusted and applied to international level. </ span>
It is an honor to Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering program being part of a prestigious accreditation network that has been recognized internationally. With the accreditation of ASIIN, it is expected that the quality of education and graduates of Geodesy and Geomati Engineering study programs can continue to increase so that they can always contribute to the development Republic of Indonesia.
